linkin park for the song lyric. been hearing this song a lot the last few days, drivin' around.. i think it fits (with a lot).


originally i wanted to use a marker for the text -- one of those faber-castell permanents i used on what is currently my ID (020-metal_eyes-21.xcf), but i could not find one. then i thought a pencil would be scratchy. gave up the search and used a pencil i had on the desk. not too bad. the scan was in line-art mode, and the edges of the text are more pixelated than i would've liked, but, what can ya do, eh?

of course this photo is lying around in my gallery already. the last few nights i've been without film.. so here i am tweakin' out my photos on the compy.

to me, "Advanced Critique Encouraged" just means if you want to tear up my photo, go for it. i want to improve. this one focuses more on the layout and text than my usual photos, so go ahead and cut that up too.

i really enjoy reading any comments you wish to leave.

This reminds me very much so of the cover art of my favourite band, Something for Kate's CDs [link]

Possibly because you have similar writing to the singer/guitarist (all the writing on their covers and in the booklets is handwritten by him) but also because this photo is similar to the style of Stephanie Ashworth, the bands bassist who also takes all the cover pictures.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. A very nice piece :nod:
